Sin is not merely particular acts we commit. It is the pervasive direction of our lives in Adam and a power that holds us in bondage.

What role does the law of God have in the lives of believers? We are not under the law, but it must continue to teach us.

God demands perfect obedience, which only Christ has ever rendered. Our hope for righteousness is in him alone.

We may think we are doing well if we compare ourselves to others, but what happens when we look at ourselves in light of God's holiness?

What are the effects of Adam's fall on us? Is there some remnant of spiritual life left in us, or have we been totaled?
